Privacy policy
Your information, handled with care.
What we collect, why, and what we never do. Effective October 25, 2026.
Who we are
Swift Turtle Studio is a trade name of Magical Tortoise LLC, a Georgia limited liability company. In this policy, "we," "us" and "our" mean Swift Turtle Studio and Magical Tortoise LLC. You can reach us at [email protected], by call or text at (770) 580-3716, or by mail at 4827 Old National Hwy, Unit #2048, College Park, GA 30337, United States.
The short version
- This website doesn't use tracking, advertising or analytics cookies.
- We collect only what you choose to send us, like your name, email or message.
- We never sell your information, and we don't share it for advertising.
- We never ask for your passwords, and we never handle your payment card numbers.
What we collect
- When you contact us: your name, email address, phone number and whatever you write in your message, call or text.
- When you book a call: booking is handled by Calendly, which collects your name, email and the details you enter. Calendly's own privacy policy applies to that page.
- When you use the chat assistant: the messages you type, and your name, email and question if you choose to send them to Jeremy (see "The chat assistant" below).
- When you become a client: business details needed for your project, like your business name, billing contact and project materials, plus access to your accounts that you grant us.
- Technical information: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, automatically processes basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver this site and protect it from abuse.
The chat assistant
The "Ask a question" assistant on this site is powered by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. When you send a message, it goes through our chat service on Cloudflare to Anthropic so the AI can write a reply. We don't keep a saved history of chat conversations, though our providers may keep short-term technical logs. Please don't type sensitive personal information, passwords or payment details into the chat. For anything important, contact Jeremy directly.
If the assistant can't answer, it offers an "Ask Jeremy directly" form. If you use it, we collect your name (optional), your email, your question and that chat conversation, and store them in our Google Workspace account (Google Forms and Sheets) so Jeremy can reply. We use them only to answer you, and you can ask us to delete them anytime.
How we use your information
- To reply to you and set up calls.
- To plan, build and support the work you hire us for.
- To send quotes, invoices and receipts.
- To keep records required by tax and business law.
We'll only send you marketing emails if you ask to receive them, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
How we protect client accounts and data
- No shared passwords: we ask you to add us as a collaborator or staff user on platforms like Shopify, Amazon, Google and Meta. You control that access and can remove it anytime.
- Secure storage: any credentials we do need are kept in a password manager, never in email or chat.
- How we use AI: Jeremy works with AI tools, including Claude by Anthropic, for research, writing drafts, building pages and checking work. We use them with business information like product details, page content and public listings. Your customers' personal information, such as their names, addresses and emails, stays out of AI tools.
- Payments: invoices are paid through our payment processors. We never see or store your full card number.
Who we share it with
Only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need: Google Workspace (email, and the Ask Jeremy form), Cloudflare (website hosting and the chat service), Anthropic (the AI behind the chat assistant), Calendly (scheduling), Zoom (calls) and our payment processors. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. If the business is ever sold or reorganized, your information would move with it under this same policy.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and project files for as long as we're working together and for a reasonable time after, so we can support your site. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires, generally up to seven years. Ask us anytime and we'll delete anything we don't need to keep.
Your choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days. We don't sell or "share" personal information as those terms are used in state privacy laws such as California's. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Clients outside the United States
We're based in the United States, and our providers process information in the U.S. By contacting us from another country, you understand your information will be handled here under this policy.
Children
This site and our services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the effective date at the top. For big changes, we'll tell clients directly.
