Who these terms are with

Swift Turtle Studio is a trade name of Magical Tortoise LLC, a Georgia limited liability company ("we," "us"). These terms apply when you use this website or hire us. For projects, the written quote or agreement you approve also applies, and if it says something different from these terms, the agreement wins.

Quotes and scope

Before any work starts, you'll get a written scope and a fixed price, or a starting price with an exact quote for jobs that vary in size. Work outside that scope is quoted separately before we do it, or billed at $95 an hour with your approval.

Payments

• Projects under $2,000: half to start, half at launch.
• Bigger projects: 40% to start, then equal payments every two weeks until launch.
• Monthly services: billed once a month in advance.
• Prices are in U.S. dollars. If a payment is more than 14 days late, we may pause work until it's caught up.

Cancellations and refunds

• Before work starts: cancel within 3 business days of paying your deposit and you'll get a full refund.
• After work starts: your deposit covers the work already done and isn't refunded. You keep everything finished up to that point, and you don't owe anything for work that hasn't happened.
• Payment-plan projects: you pay only for the stages completed. Future payments stop when you cancel.
• Website care plans: month to month. Cancel anytime before your next billing date.
• Search, social and marketplace management: these start with 3 months, since results take time to build. After that, they're month to month and can be cancelled anytime before the next billing date.

Changes and approvals

Projects include two rounds of changes. You see everything before it goes live, and nothing changes on your current site until you approve it. If we don't hear from you for 30 days during a project, we may pause it and pick it back up when you're ready.

Who owns the work

Once you've paid in full, the website, content and designs we create for you are yours. Some pieces come from other companies under their own licenses, like themes, apps, fonts and stock photos, and those licenses still apply. We may show your finished project in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

Your part

You agree to give us the content, information and account access we need, and to only send us materials you have the right to use. You're responsible for your products, claims and business decisions, and for following the rules of the platforms you sell on.

Platforms and results

Amazon, eBay, TikTok Shop, Walmart, Shopify, Google and others set their own rules, fees and approval decisions, and they can change them at any time. We'll guide you through them, but we can't guarantee approvals, search rankings, placement in AI answers, or sales. What we do promise is careful work, honest advice and clear reporting.

How we use AI

Jeremy uses AI tools, including Claude by Anthropic, to research, draft, build and double-check work. Jeremy reviews everything before you see it. Your customers' personal information stays out of AI tools. Our privacy policy has the details.

Referral fees

If we recommend a company that pays us a referral fee, we'll tell you up front, and it never changes what we recommend.

Clients outside the United States

We're happy to work with businesses anywhere. Prices are in U.S. dollars, calls are scheduled in Eastern time, and marketplace setup outside the U.S. is quoted case by case.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we aren't responsible for indirect losses such as lost profits. Nothing here limits rights you have that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

This website

The information on this site is general and may change. Prices shown are current as of the date you see them, and your written quote is what counts. Please don't misuse the site or the chat assistant, including trying to break it or use it for anything unrelated to our services.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. If a disagreement comes up, we'll try to work it out together first, directly and in good faith.
